Born in Seattle, Washington, well-known photographer and wildlife advocate Art Wolfe has been recording endangered species for many years – often focusing on primates. His striking color photos emphasize composition and situation, while exploring the effects of light. Worldwide travels have included visits to wildlife refuges and rescue centers. In his many publications Wolfe takes the reader on a global journey, telling the stories behind the photographs, as well as discussing photographic tools and techniques. He has recorded primates for “National Geographic” and for his popular television series, “Travels to the Edge”.
